Easter

Happy Easter everybody, I hope the bunny came to see you. My Nana and Papaw came to see me, man did I have fun. I got them up really early every day so we could start playing (no need to waste the day on sleep)

 The weather warmed up a little bit so we headed off to the Lincoln Park Zoo in the city, oh boy

 I'm really trying to get the hang of this walking thing

"Hey guys....I think I got this on my own"

 Sooo these fish are cool but do they have a petting zoo or anything???

 This ardvark was a little shy

 We don't have blue bonnetts up here in Chicago so we settled for these iris'

 Wooo Hoooo

 When we got home Daddy but this bike trailer together for me but....

 it really wasn't safe for someone my size so we are now on to plan B

 The next day the Easter Bunny came....you should have seen how fast I got to my basket

 We headed out for brunch after the bunny came

10 Month

Hey everybody, here I am on my 10 month bday. I weigh 23 pounds, I'm now eating big boy food, I can crawl super fast, I can stand on my own for about 5 seconds and I can walk pretty good holding onto things. I have 4 teeth (2 on top and 2 on bottom), I can clap and I'm working on waving bye-bye. I can say dada and mama.

My Mimi came up to visit and we went and got me some shoes, looking pretty good huh!

 we tried some sunglasses too but couldn't find any cool enough for me

 the next morning we got up and went to breakfast and then headed out to see the Easter bunny

 I wasn't the only kid going to see the bunny so we had to wait in line, luckily Mommy let me play in the shopping cart

they didn't really give me time for my Hollywood smile :( check out my shoes though

 

the next day we had swimming,  Mimi thinks I'm a natural

 I'm really working on my technique and form here

I figured out how to stand in the bathtub, that is a fun game for me...not so much for Mommy and Daddy

My Cousin Braxton's visit

This is my cousin Braxton, he and Aunt Kelly flew all the way from Houston to come see me.

He was showing me all of his cars and then decided he was going to help me up

Braxton....you may want to eat your wheaties before you try this again :)

Of course we had to stop off at Giordano's for some deep dish pizza

 that is what I called stuffed!

 What.....we are going to the children's museum....I can't wait!!!

 "Carter, what do you think of all this buddy?"

 We finally found the section were I could get out and play

 After we got home it was time to dye Easter Eggs (Carter had to go to bed, next year buddy you can join us)

 Braxton thought Hunter might want to play peek a boo

 Now we are headed to the Zoo

 Um Mommy.....these animals aren't really doing much!

 It was a little too cold to be outside so we headed to Choo Choo Johnny's for lunch

After everyone had their nap it was time to make some cup cakes

 Hunter thinks, if I stand here long enough he's bound to drop some of that

 I'm getting really good at this walking while holding mommy's hands

 One last book before bed. We had a great visit and were so sad to see Braxton and Aunt Kelly leave. Thanks so much for coming. See you soon
