Happy Birthday Lil C!!!

Hi everyone, its that time of year again....birthday time!!! Can you believe I'm already a year old? I had my 1 year check up on the 18th and I weigh 25 lbs and I am 31 inches long; that's 80th % for weight and 85th % for height. I am practically running everywhere now and there isn't a cabinet I can't get into. Well here I am relaxing after I flew into Houston from Chicago (I needed to get my beauty rest before my big party the next day)

Since I was down in TX and it was of course hot...Mimi let me try my first popsicle 

 Oh man Mimi....those things are goood!

 Lil C had lot's of helpers when it came time for presents :)

 As most of you know....we are moving back to Texas and are sooo excited. Aunt Kelly got me this shirt

 I need to read the card, Mommy told me cards a very important ....just ask Daddy

 Um yeah....is somebody going to bring me my cake or what??

 Now we're talking. Oh I don't know...maybe just a little taste

 Hmmmm.....this isn't bad

 Yeah yeah...you guys smile, I'm gonna keep eating

 Here I am with Mommy's friends kiddos, I can't wait to hang out with them once we move back (She said that I can't hear the stories about what they did in college and high school :)  Thanks for a great party everyone!!!!

Happy Mother's Day

well it was my first Mother's Day so I made sure to hook Mommy up!

 it was a beautiful day so we headed to downtown Geneva for lunch with some friends (I just love my Mommy)

 Here is my friend Madeleine, we decided to hit the first farmer's market of the year

 Oh yeah...that is her giving me a big fat smooch! I'm such a ladies man :)

 Here's me in my wagon. It was so nice on Mother's Day that we actually got to go to the park (its been too cold for me to go outside and play)

 oh boy, this is sooo fun!

 All that playing makes me super thirsty!

 Here I am on May 10. When Mommy picked me up from school today I stood up on my own and took two steps towards her all by myself!!! You guys better look out!

Easter

Happy Easter everybody, I hope the bunny came to see you. My Nana and Papaw came to see me, man did I have fun. I got them up really early every day so we could start playing (no need to waste the day on sleep)

 The weather warmed up a little bit so we headed off to the Lincoln Park Zoo in the city, oh boy
